Christmas Watercolor Horse Portrait Commission - Update #1

The initial washes have been laid down and the background is still slightly wet so may look a little warped but will straighten out by morning. The initial shapes of her fur and bone structure have been sketched in and now I will go over them in several different shades of brownish red to build up the depth and shape of her head and neck.

I will add a couple more layers in the background to build up the color with a loose texture once dried.
