My Studio

I reorganized my studio (again) and thought I would share photos with you all. It is still a bit messy but it goes from clean to ridiculously messing when I am working in a matter of minutes. I like to think it is because I am creatively messy but it is likely due to the fact that I am just messy ;)
The bookcases & office desk I inherited from my hubby as he used to use them for his home office and the drafting table I picked up for $60 at a second hand store, major score :) It is a great room and I am really lucky to have it for a studio. It gets lots of light and is big enough to move around plus have a great display area when visitors come.

WOW! *jaw drops* You call that messy?! You'd die if you saw my studio. Great space, Tracey!

Wow! It is really spacious. And carpeting! How comfortable. But then you're not splashing acrylic or oil paint around like some of us... Thanks for the peek!

Thanks Billie, yes you know now that I look at the big picture (not the one on my camera screen) it is not messy is it! It is usually much messier, maybe it is because I know about all the junk in the cubbards & desk ;)

It was great meeting you today Andrea! I love seeing other artist's studio's so I figured I should post mine too :) Yes the white carpet is so bad, even with watercolor. Did you know it is impossible to get frisket out of the carpet once it has dried? I also manage to get some sort of red ink (I think it is printer ink) or really strong watercolor pigment in the carpet that will not come out. Right in front of the couch of course :)
