I ordered my frames and
matts for my upcoming solo exhibit at Place
des Arts in March and had to take a photo of the work I have ahead of me! This is what fifty 16x20 frames looks like with fifty double
matts on top. Don't mind the painting drying on top of the stack, why waste the space ;)
Clearly they do not fit into my studio this way, they are so orderly
looking, it is almost a shame to unpack them! I am starting to get very excited about the exhibit now, I can't believe it is less than a month away. So let's see, if I frame 2 pieces a day....

WOW Tracey, thats a lot of frames. You have your work cut out for you. Good look. But it will all be worth it when your solo exhibit takes place, have a great day. If I did not live so far, I would hellp you frame...
OMG...what a daunting task! i hope they all go flying off the wall and money flies into your pocket.
lol wow thanks Lisa, maybe I could fly you down... hah I don't hate framing that much ;) Luckily I don't need all of them for the exhibit as I have some smaller ones already framed but I think I need at least 30 of them. I should be an expert at framing by the time I am done.
Thank Billie, yeah I am hoping to sell something but who knows. I am telling myself nothing is going to sell so if anything does sell it will be even more exciting :)
Good luck with all that framing; not much fun! But the results are worth it - everything looks better in a frame. Just a pain to store! And good luck with the show...
Thanks Amie, yes the frames make such a difference I am always surprised. I got lucky though and now these frames ship with the cardboard boxes so they are much easier to store than the smaller ones as they can just be stored in the box, yay :) It is not so bad once I get on a roll ;)
