Watercolor Column - The Corinthian

I thought this was still not finished so I added some more darks and warmed up a few areas and I am much happier with it. I liked it before but now I think the contrasts really work nicely and the textures are more pronounced.

I saw this in the Structured Critique on WC!! Didn't realize that was you - great image, lovely handling of the medium. Very well done, indeed!

Thanks Amie, yes I loved this column as well, I am a scucker for the old architecture. I used different techniques for this one and was a little afraid I was going to wreck it but knew I needed to push it further as it just was not sitting right with me. Now I love it :)
